How do I get my HDTV to display the same as the left side of the 1080p full-motion demo on the whole screen?

My new HDTV (pn50b860) has a feature called 1080p full-motion demo where it shows half of the screen normally and the other half of the screen shows movement absolutely crystal clear. I hope to see this all the time but understand if it is limited to a game or blu ray player.
